Cathy's may be small but it's also mighty. With six tables or so in the storefront dining area the cafe seats about two dozen people tops. The ambience is smart and sophisticated. In fact if it weren't for the whiteboard scrawled with specials in purple marker and the takeout-style fridge stuffed with bottled drinks (and unbelievably low prices) you might just think you were in a fine dining establishment. For the most part the printed menu features luncheon-style fare with roots all over the globe - from Polish kielbasa to Cuban sandwiches and quesadillas.
