This pub has been a pit stop in the tiny borough of Freemansburg for a good 170 years. Once it served canal-barge drivers and train brakemen. Now it serves locals hungry for takeout pizza and grilled roast beef and turkey sandwiches and thirsty for a shot and a beer. Entertainment ranges from rock 'n' roll bands to ghosts. "We've had occasional sightings of spirits the presence of certain entities" says owner Mike Billetz whose family has run the place since the 1950s. "We haven't been able to pin down any identities. I've been here pretty much my whole life so I'm a believer.''
