Extremely eclectic best describes the fare at The Washington House in Sellersville where the menu changes every two months. Run by the husband-and-wife team of William Quigley and Elaine Brick since 1985 the Victorian restaurant (originally built as a farmhouse in the 18th century) is known for salads that combine fresh fruit cheese and different kinds of greens; appetizers such as hand-sliced potato chips with jumbo lump crab meat; entrees such as grilled salmon with spinach goat cheese and figs ginger-marinated chicken breast with apple compote and sweet potatoes and veal ribs osso bucco style with white bean cassoulet and signature sweets Emily’s pecan pie and New Orleans bread pudding. There are beer and wine tastings on the first and last Fridays of the month respectively.
